3D–printer brand Ultimaker recently launched the Ultimaker 2+ and Ultimaker 2 Extended+. These upgrades create even smoother, faster and more efficient prints. Thanks to their open source community, innovations never stand still and Ultimaker continuously realizes the next level in 3D-printing.

For the owners of the previous printer versions Ultimaker introduces the extrusion upgrate kit. This kit turns the Ultimaker 2 easily into a 2+.

Enthusiastic makers can power up their Ultimaker 2 in about an hour. A great video tells users step by step how to install the Extrusion upgrade kit. We developed the upgrade kit’s packaging concept that is well-arranged, understandable, consistent and supports the installation process.

Earlier we developed the Ultimaker 2 Go packaging that was awarded The Dieline Editor’s Choice Award 2016 and was recently  nominated finalist for a ‘Gouden Noot’, a Dutch packaging innovation contest. For this product we also designed a backpack kit, that nows ships out with all new 2Go printers.
