The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited one of our senior designers, Jacco de Haan, to take part in a Dutch trade mission to Bavaria, Germany next Thursday, April 14. ISM, the smart logistic aid we developed for PostNL, the largest mail company in The Netherlands, led to this special invitation. Together with our his majesty king Willem-Alexander, her majesty queen Maxima, Secretary of the State Lilianne Ploumen and a few other Dutch entrepreneurs, Jacco visited the German region. The mission’s purpose is to stimulate trade and achieve a closer cooperation in the field of technology.

Logistics is one of the main topics. The smart tool we developed for PostNL represents an effective solution in the rapidly changing world of logistics. With an ISM at hand Jacco will proudly present our design to the invitees.

For PostNL, the multifunctional trolley is an essential part of their new mail sorting process, which handles increasingly fewer letters and more and more parcels. The ISM ensures that the new mail sorting machines can be fed the required amount of mail while at the same time decreasing the physical workload on the employees.

In 2016, our design was awarded a renowned Dutch Design Award. After that, it was selected to be one of the nine exhibits for Best of Dutch Design. This travelling design exhibition shows Dutch Design Award winners and was present at one of the biggest design events in Germany: the Munich Creative Business Week earlier this year.
