The iF design award jury awarded two of our designs with this renowned award. The Tefal Secure 5 Neo Pressure Cooker and packaging for Tremco Illbruck’s JF100 joint filler were granted an iF design award 2016. We developed the winning products for two very different markets with subsequently different design challenges.

The Tefal Secure 5 Neo makes pressure cooking, a healthy, quick and energy efficient way of cooking, accessible for a wide audience. Our team kept a very diverse user group in mind and created a pressure cooker that combines ease of use with outstanding safety levels. The design is simple and functionality is clear, which makes its use straightforward. For example, the ergonomic handles are easy to open and close. The colors and detailing fit with healthy cooking and within Tefal’s product range.

Tremco Illbruck is a manufacturer of high-performance sealing and bonding solutions for the construction and manufacturing industry. They recently introduced the Illbruck JF100 – the first water based, insulating joint filler for professional use that does not contain any hazardous chemicals.

We developed the new innovative, ergonomically shaped can. Its slender neck ensures an optimal grip for the user, for an easy and accurate filling job. The new patented 2-in-1 closure makes a single can suitable for 2 different spray attachments. Heavy users can click on the professional gun, an occasional user can use the straw. For the manufacturer, this has a massive impact on logistics as they were able to reduce the number of SKU’s with 50%.
