Pushing boundaries of production methods

When you look closer there is a whole lot more to the Ahrend 360 than meets the eye. In the process of bringing the 360 from a rough sketch to a finished product, we have made a bold choice in material use. At the same time we have pushed the boundaries of traditional production methods.

Numerous possibilities

With the 360, Ahrend got a valuable addition to its product portfolio. The 360 gives Ahrend the edge over competitors because of unique qualities like its low weight and stackability, combined within a contemporary design.

With colors ranging from soft pastels to expressive mono colors the Ahrend 360 fits in or stands out off any environment it is placed in. The broad color range opens up numerous possibilities for creating unique arrangements. Whether it is an office reception area or a waiting room, the 360 will feel right at home.

The challenge was to combine the right look&feel, sustainable materials and state-of-the-art technology

Focus on sustainability

Sustainability has been one of the main drivers in the design process of the Ahrend 360. The chair has been engineered for minimal material usage without losing the design intent.

No permanent connections between parts and smart material choices – PP for all the plastic parts and magnesium for the frame components – ensure an optimal durability and in the end good recyclability.
