After 20 years of making pushchairs, Dutch company Bugaboo extends its mobility expertise with the launch of a revolutionary luxury luggage system: The Bugaboo Boxer. We would like to congratulate the Bugaboo team for a great new product and are proud to be responsible for its packaging concept.

Bugaboo Boxer is a unique system of interlocking modular cases that click together to create an easy-to-manoeuver system that holds all bags in one place during travelling. The Bugaboo Boxer’s solid basis is a four-wheeled chassis, to which travelers can add a suitcase, cabin case or laptop bag in their preferred configuration. Great advantage is that travelers reconfigure it in seconds on a train, at security or during boarding, avoiding the usual luggage hassle. Every detail was carefully designed to meet the needs of today’s travelers and turn every trip into a joyful experience.

Consistent with Bugaboo Boxer’s product design, we created a smart modular packaging solution. Consumers worldwide can order any preferred setup of chassis, cases and bags. The packaging solution perfectly reflects the modularity of the system and the world of traveling. We created cardboard boxes of different height, but each with the same footprint that make them easily stackable. Just by picking the right combination of boxes, stacking them and join them together with a strap and handle, the complete order can be shipped from the warehouse to yet another happy traveler. The packaging doubles as shipping and consumer packaging, which makes our solution sustainable and efficient. The outside of the boxes is basic and efficient with only the necessary printing. When opening each box, consumers have a great unpack experience, which fully completes their high end purchase.

We were happy to be present at the product´s exclusive launch on Tuesday evening September 6th at the ADAM Toren in Amsterdam! As of September 26, 2016, Bugaboo Boxer is available for consumers.
