After a successful redesign of their on-table storage container and cup tray, Dutch coffee and tea company Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE), asked us for our expertise again. We created a new dispenser for their major tea brand Pickwick that embodies Pickwick’s slogan to ’enjoy every moment ’.

The new dispenser – which will find its way to many coffee corners– has an elegant shape and matte dark finish. The clear trays display the colorful tea bags of the eight different blends, enabling consumers to pick their tea of choice. The smart engineered dispensing units allow Pickwick’s road service team to restock quickly.

At the same time, we realized an important cost price reduction. The new design uses less material and needs minimum assembling.

We enjoyed collaborating with the JDE team from the first sketches to the first production runs and managed the full development process within the client’s tight schedule. Our technical expertise helped us translating JDE’s wishes into realistic, creative solutions.

FLEX/Prototyping provided us with as-marketed prototypes that made it considerably easier for our client to test the design, present it to other stakeholders and decide on recommended changes and improvements.
