On April 10th the jury will announce the winner of the Family-owned business Award 2019. Out of 500 candidates, three finalists were selected. We’re very proud that we closely collaborate with two of them – Lely Industries and Otolift Stairlifts – for already more than 20 years. The foundation ‘Familie Onderneming’ (Family-owned business), established in 2012, aims to highlight the family-owned businesses and their importance to the Dutch economy. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for our clients!

Ooms Stairlifts is internationally one of the key players for stair lifts, enabling the elderly to live independently much longer. Developing new innovative products for their market is a continuous process for both our teams. Together with the Ooms team, we developed many stairlifts, the latest one the Otolift ONE, a revolutionary and patented chair that travels on a single tube. This design allows the stairlift to be used in narrow and steep staircases. We’re continuously working on innovative, smart solutions for the future.

Lely builds machines and automated systems for dairy farming; innovation ‘from grass to glass.’ We designed many of their machines, on the field and in the barn, like the RP Balers, Tigo Forage wagons, Vector, Meteor, Juno and the Astronaut. Together we developed the Lely design language that exudes the innovative power, reliability, and ambitions of the brand. We’re proud of contributing to their latest introduction the Lely Orbiter, a mini dairy factory at the farmer. Technical innovation, which enables to personalize milk. ‘Mijn Melk’ is biologically produced full-fat milk, unique in taste and composition, being supplied directly from the farmer to the supermarket, without any intermediate steps. Together we developed its iconic packaging.
