From now on the Albert Heijn private label sodas will be sold in new bottles. The new bottle’s longer neck and the new label make sure that they stand out on the soft drink shelves of this Dutch retailer and it gives the bottle its classic look & feel.
We developed this new iconic bottle referencing the classic soda feeling, whilst lightweight (and therefore sustainable) and at the same time very user-friendly.
Soft drink bottles often have a similar, generic shape in order to ensure enough strength when minimalizing the material used and create a perfect lightweight bottle. This strength is of utmost importance for consumer’s convenience when pouring out drinks. Bearing in mind manufacturer’s strict specifications on sizes, we started exploring different new shapes and succeeded in designing a unique, lightweight bottle. The longer neck and the new label are essential in creating an iconic bottle that references classic sodas and distinguishes itself from competitive brands.
