Each year, the international red dot jury judges many submissions worldwide and rewards only the best creative work with this renowned award. Congrats to the development team! Your creativity, technical expertise, material knowledge, unbridled enthusiasm, and persistence led to a unique and patented collapsible cup, which forms the heart of this extraordinary concept. 

We developed Mimic, an innovative bottle-feeding concept created to offer babies the best possible natural drinking experience. The patented cup-system helps avoid abdominal cramps with the baby and ensures perfect dosing and ease of use. The sympathetically designed bottle ‘mimics’ a woman’s breast. At the same time, it facilitates the integrated functionality of an innovative ‘smart cup’ powdered baby formula. This pre-dosed cup forms the heart of the system. Placed in the bottom part of the bottle, it gently flips inward towards the silicone teat when the baby is drinking. The air pressure stays balanced, and the baby can drink at its own pace preventing abdominal cramps.

The bottle’s design is pivotal for the cup to flip in a controlled and uniform way. Innovative materials (like fully recyclable wafer-thin mono-polypropylene for the cup), innovative processes (thin-walled vacuum forming), and smart design led to a unique system. Mimic offers young babies calm and peace. For their parents, security (just the right amount and balance nutrients in each single-serve cup), user-friendliness (quick and easy prep), and an environmentally friendly solution.
